I lost my waste gate spring!
awhile back i had disabled my turbo by popping out the clamp that attached the spring to the down-pipe. over the next few weeks the spring vibrated enough to unscrew itself from the wastegate (didn't think of this happening). anyone know how i can make or purchase another? it was from stafford fabrications, and the spring looked like it was custom made...

you ought to be able to buy a spring for whatever WG it is... they come in lots of pressure levels. Its just a TiAL 38mm gate right?

Thats not an external wastegate, and it doesnt use a spring. Just go to the manufacturer of the turbo and tell them you need an wastegate actuator rod for that model turbo.
BTW: That turbo you have uses a diaghpram(sp) to actuate the wastegate.
