auto to stick k-swap ?s
auto to stick k-swap ?s
Hey everbody, I searched through like 3 pages and couldn't find anything that answered this question: could someone give me a estimate of how hard/extra cash it would be to swap some sorta k20 into a auto em2 on top of the 4 to 8 grand for a normal k swap. Just wondering if there is any point to me holding on to the hope of fixing my mistake of getting a automatic. Thanks for the help, and before someone says it I know I'm a noob and should have searched more yadda yadda.

you can do a manual swap for 5-800 if you choose parts right but if your goign to do a k20 swap why not get the engine and tranny and be done with it at once with 3-500 in parts needed

Well what all parts will he need?
He needs a shifter, say a Revo since that is the whole thing correct?
He needs the shifter linkage.
He needs a 3rd pedal, and all the wires/hoses that run from it.
He needs the lines for the clutch.
What else?

all you need is a new console, pedal assemby, shifter, tach if you want one, and thats all i can think of
5-800 for a manual swap, i guess if you get lucky with the right parts but labor is expenisve if you can enve find anybody to do the work , i thought most people said it cost them around 1500 or so, which is still a good deal
