Assuming you are pretty handy and can fab stuff up on your own, like the manifold, exhaust, ic piping, brackets ect. What all are the absolute neccesities?
This will be going on a bone stock 01 ex, not looking to set any records.just give it a little more omph.
My list so far for the stuff I can't make or already have is
Turbo - I have a couple ford t3's, but will probably pick up something smaller if needed.
Emanage
injectors
fuel pump
maybe return fuel system?

If I can keep it under $1000 I will probably go ahead and start getting some parts.

Does this sound about right?
Or can it be done with out the emanage? I don't mind tossing together a cheap megasquirt1 to control just fuel and adding a couple injectors if the timing wouldn't be a huge issue with about 6-8#
