2k1 to 2k2 cupholder converstion
Dose anyone know how i could convert my 2k1 cupholders to the 2k2 style i like them alot and would pa a bit for it. Do you know if i could just buy the new lower dash or whatever you would call it and put it in and it would fit or what? i'm positive the only thing different is the two peices... the one that holds the 12v thing and the whole middle thing...

reason for this is, the middle part is higher then the 01's
n the 12v part, is a lil shorter cause we dont have the extra pocket.

I replied in the general post, but I whill do it here as well. Go to www.hondaautomotiveparts.com and you can order the new console $38 and the new spot where the cigarette lighter goes. You will probably have to call them because the 2002 books are not online yet. Honda Automotive Parts

How much is it for the center cigarette lighter thing then?

So since i got a black interior......i'm lookin at $57 for the center piece where the cupholder and shifter is at......then whatever else it costs for the cigarette lighter portion (center piece)

I'm not 100% sure how the 2001 is but I can only guess that it is real similiar. I posted a link earlier of a website that you can order every little piece of plastic, nut and bolt for our cars. It has their part books online where it has all the parts numbered with prices. You will have to call them and ask them the prices for the 2k2 parts because they don't have them online yet. You will need to purchase the 2k2 center console and the piece of plastic above it where the cigarette lighter goes. Depending on the color its around $40. Here is the link Honda Automotive Parts

Which storage pocket are you referring to? I don't know about the sedans, I have never even looked inside of one.

yea, it's a 2k2, cuz it does have an arm rest, an the wheels are bigger...hmmm is this maybe an EX, SI, or an American thing...I have a an LX coupe from Canada...
