Just cruz at 70 to 80 and it isn't that loud.
Cruzin the streets it isn't that bad either, you get use to it.
Also your releaving some back pressure
The low end torque drop alittle until you hit the power ban; you'll have a better top end in the rpm range due to more exhaust flow.
I have a magnaflow with high flow cat(straight pipe), much louder but sounds really good. Feels like much more power in higher rpms.
At first I had mine installed with clamps but air was leaking, so i had it welded together and no problems after that.

to everyone who is asking is it worth it......
just go look at some dyno charts of the gains d17's make with bolt ons. then ask yourself is close to a thousand dollars in parts worth 10hp?
im not trying to detour anyone from building up their d17, hell even i bought an intake. couldn't resist having the sound of one. i know it didn't do jack for the performance of my car, but hey it was a gift so i didn't pay for it.
