Neuspeed Strut Bar and Fujita F5 Cold Air Intake
Neuspeed Strut Bar and Fujita F5 Cold Air Intake
I recently installed a Fujita F5 cold air intake on my 2004 Honda Civic EX Coupe Manual. I was looking into purchasing a front upper strut bar for my car and my initial choice was the Tanabe Sustec Strut Bar in red. After installing my intake, I found a cheap polished one that i purchased just for fitting purposes. It does not fit, I still have it and it is for sale if anyone wants it. Anyways, I heard that the Neuspeed Front Upper Strut Bar will fit these model Civic's that have an intake system installed because of their design. I want to purchase the black one, but I can't find any cheap ones so I need to be sure that it will fit before i buy another strut bar and add it to the collection. Does anybody know if it will fit for sure?

neuspeed strut bar fits any intake.... the bar is right against the firewall. Unless the fujita intake has some weird bend ot a HUGE tube, Neuspeed will fit. They usually run about $110 shipped.

Ive got a V2 i think im gonna trash it for the fujita. First intake that im really IMPRESSED by. BTW black out your headlights and take off the mudflaps. Nice vic
I personally think the Fujita cold air will outperform the V2 because of the tornado which funnels more air into the chamber. I was never really too impressed with the v2 even though i have never tried it. Seems to me it was more for sound than for power. Plus the bigger piping takes up more room which affects strut bars and such.
Yeah, I have the Fujita Intake with the Neuspeed Upper Strut Bar. It works fine, but if you have it running parellel with the bar you'll get a slight issue where the bar bends. But you can fix that by adjusting your intake.

What makes me think the fujita is better. Short and sweet... the filter design. The filter design on the fujita has to give a better possible flow rate than the V2. Compare the 2 for yourself and see what you think.
