question on front bushings
guys i did some research and im stuck bigtime.. I went to install my tein ss yesterday along with my energy suspension front and rear bushings.. after i drop my car the guy from the the shop tells me he cant install the front bushings from energy suspension because they are the wrong one... It clearly says on the the box the model 16.3116 is for our car 01-03.. now the guy at the shop tells me they are for acuras and not our 7th gens however my friend rob called me today (the guy i ordered the bushings from) to tell me those are the right bushings so im not sure whats going on over here... If anybody installed these bushings can you please help me out and let me know if i do have the correct model and who is the wrong over here.. He did the rear but the front hasnt been done and i would like to have that done asap thank guys

So is the actual question in that mess whether or not RSX front control arm bushings are the same as Civic ones?
If so.... look at the energy suspension website. Which says the part number for both front LCA sets is 16.3116
its amazing what companies tell you about their own products.

Well I don't see what the problem is with the parts. the problem seems to be your mechanic is an idiot.
Pull the control arms, press the old ones out, press the new ones in.

sorry to bring back an old thread. but i been thinking about geting the front and rear LCA bushings i have a couple Q's if i may ask...
how is the ride compared to stock b/c i know these's are alot stiffer than the one that are on the car now, do they make any noise over time...

Handling will improve, due to the lack of suspension deflection and geometry change that is the main benefit of urethane bushings. However they are a bit harsher, and tranfer more road feedback into the car, especially with stiff sidewalled tires.
