Congrats! My dad taught me when i was 11 years old. He took me a local parking lot and let me drive in circles and then said ok now go home. I almost pooped my self i made all the way home and then almost hit our house lol. Btw is it aaaaaaa toyota pickup!
Congrats! An S2K??
I remember learning how to drive a MT... I was driving my friends 2.5RS... Had a lil trouble with getting used to the clutch at first, but nonetheless practice makes it easier...
So what car did you drive?

oh yeah! GeminiZ wins! haha...
but CiviCoupe2k2 was the closest. he must have cheated, by seeing me, as i was close to his house. haha.
first manual car i drove on the road w/ traffic: 2006 STi.
where most of you may not like the styling, i'm ok with it, yet i still would prefer the old styled front.
also: i don't want to end up like one other guy i know who got an '06 WRX, and just had the clutch replaced!!! 1700 miles on it, and he already needed a new clutch! the mechanic who worked on it had been there 30 years, and was surprised at that (walked the clutch plate around to the other mechanics to show them).

i work at mazda-subaru
i have no comparison to the STi really... it was the third car i've driven that was stick, and about the fourth or so time that i've driven a stick, so i couldn't really tell ya.
sorry!
but the other detailer drove it back, just cause the traffic is different going back and all, and he got it to really pull off the line at the light (first in line at the red light).
