450 cc injectors.. will they fit?

hi guys this is my first post ever in this forum! i currently have a 99 ej9 d14z2 (a destroked version of d16y7) civic (euro model) which i custom turboed.. but i will be buying a newer car an ep2 with d16v1 (which is euro model too) and this engine is a destroked version of d17a2.. my question is will my 450cc high empedance injectors on my d14 (which eventually has the same fuel rail as d16y7) fit the d16v1 which has a returnless fuel setup..
tried searching but couldnt find..

i have heard that they fit but you will have to get new studs (longer) for the fuel rail.

I still don't think anyone is gonna know the answer as the overwhelming majority of us are dealing with the North American model car. Whatever differences there may be between the european version and the No. American version are not really going to be known to us. The rail stands the chance to be completely different.

people from the d16v1 forum told me that d17 fuel rail and injectors are probably same with the d16v1 (part numbers are same on the head and manifold etc..) the only difference i belive is the deck height rods and cranck between the two other parts look identical

yeah i agree. the only differences are in the inside of the motor. most of the outer parts like the intake manifold and the fuel rail are identical as far as i know. i could be wrong but this is what i have seen and heard with these engines.

they may fit, depending on the injectors you purchase. If they are (physically) too large, then the fuel rail will hit the TPS sensor (assuming it is in the same location as our version).

i already have 450cc injectors and they are a direct fit for most hondas(d16a6,zc,d16y7,d16y8,b16a,b16a2,b16b,b18**, h22** etc...) they will fit almost every honda before 2001 but im not sure it will fit the 01+

which 450cc? The rc? They fit but the fuel rail is gonna be touching and rubbing the the tps sensor. I have 524cc Srt-4 injectors and they fit and work good. Also you would need to remove the studs and use bolts

i know that the older b-series or d-series injectors won't fit unless you make a custom fuel rail, then you will also need a fuel pressure regulator and i think you will have to wire in a resistor box.

No, they will not fit, man. You could always do a d16 intake manifold swap onto the new motor (with minor modification) to make the old manifold fit on the new engine, then the problem is solved.

Your old fuel rail should have a return line on it...which would be the pre-01 d16 motor. Those size injectors won't fit on the rail or an 01+ d series motor. It should be the same for foreign versions. As boilermaker stated, it's the same outer dimensions, just different strokes.
