ordered headlights off ebay.. the bulbs from my stock lights didnt fit.. the headlight fit. but the parking light and signal bulb did not.. the sockets r too big and dont fit in.. someone said this may be b.c coupe has different sized sockets.. or is it just because its an aftermarket headlight?! if ne one knows can they post up plz.. i dont know wut to do.. havent really gone out and looked yet either.. wud rather know first if neone has had experience with this,

the coupe and sedan have different sized sockets for the parking light and signal.. i do believe the wiring harness clips are the same, but the socket itself is different..

best bet is to buy new sockets from a dealer or www.hondaautomotiveparts.com..

also wtf was honda thinking!? is their a purpose behind this. . wouldnt it cost less to mass produce allt he same headlights. like with the same sized socket?!

yup they are completely different except the shape. connectors, reflector, amber insert, everything. the sedan even has a horizontal aiming mechanism that coupe doesn't.

the actual housing is different between coupe and sedan headlights. the parking light socket is different (smaller diameter on coupe), but the bulbs that the headlights use are the same exact bulbs. 7443, 194/168, H4/9003. the turn signal sockets are the same between coupe and sedan.

the T20 turn signal socket is not the same. coupe sockets are too small for sedan headlights.

i think i know why my sedan turn signal plugs worked in the coupe headlights - riley ripped me off. he sold me "sedan headlights" but they were actually coupe headlights. he included the black parking light sockets, but i think he cut the turn signal hole a little larger to fit the sedan turn signal.
