help!

ok..im starting to hear this funny noise when i go from 1st gear taking off... everything is ok ititaly then my engine seems like its gonna die, it sputters. then the same when i shift to 2nd.. i give it more gas and it seems to go away., but it still does it when i give it more than normal gas... is it my tranny slipping? or what? can someone tell me what it is? help!

yeah check the plugs and the intake filter

check to see if your spark plugs are torqued down properly ... then check your oil levels.

what does the spark plugs have to do wit it? i switched them out about a 2 months or so...i bought the boach platlum ones...(sucked)

your engine needs spark to ignite fuel. if your spark plugs are loose, then it may not be getting enough power from the coils to create a (strong) spark. or it may be too loose or too tight, which throws off where the spark is supposed to be to ignite the fuel.

spark plugs are very important, but it seems like a very neglected part of the engine. incorrect gap, incorrect torque settings, the wrong type of spark plug, the wrong heat range, etc can all affect how a spark plug will function.

make sure you have the correct type of plug, correctly torqued, etc.

check your plugs, check your oil.

thanx for the info....cuz maybe i put them on too tight.. i thought it was timing or something....i need to get everything checked
