anyone know a reputable shop for installing turbos, besides CFT (ashholes)
Iam looking around for places to install my kit, i have already talked to all version here in orlando, but they want 800-1000 to install, and abour 4 days
anyone know of a good shop that can do it cheaper and faster? or just faster. id love to have it done in a day or so. but if not then i guess allversion is the way to go.

That's actually not that bad. Another REALLY good place is TitanMotorsports. Last time I chcked though they were all booked up with BPU's

Where are you located... it helps to have a real location than under my bed munching cheerios when i can list several shops in diff areas in florida that can do a great job and be reasonable on price

heh, im located in the winter park/orlando area. Titan motorsports is less than 5 mintues from my house. I talked to them a few months ago, they said they were gonna be booked for sometime but, they said they would love to do it
im willing to spend 1000 for install if they can do it within 1-2 days , and i can drive it after its done lol.
maybe more depends. reason being i would rather not have my car down forever, but i can live with it.
but yah guys thanks for input, if anymore people know some reputable shops lemme know!
i have spare oil pan so it can get tapped to cut down time/install time.

what about installing it yourself? do the pipes need to be welded or is a full kit out of the box? i helped install a sf kit with 2 other people and it took about 3 hours, and none of us knew what the hell we were doing lol. plus it was cold and we were drinking.

Lol, that would be sweet to have it done in 3 hours, the only thing thats keeping me from installing it myself, is 1. my luck 2. Wiring stuff 3. tapping the oil pan.
and the fact that if my car blows up allversion says they would pay for a replacement engine, and shiznit,.
but if i can find a shop to do it in 8-12 hours. ill pay for what ever,. and buy the Mechanics a 24 pack of beer, lol.
if Jeff cant sell it to me ,because hes waiting from the okay from his dad, im gonna overnight a TSI kit.

LMFAO damn your impatient. Dezod sells a harness kit for the eManage so you don't have to do any splicing, and gauges arn't bad.

headstuds are def in my game plan, also new headgasket. Seems as if my seller if flaking out, so im now talk to robo1012 about his SF kit, i wanna run maybe 6-8 psi daily, i will be running emanage and RSEX injectors , also with snow performance Booze and water injection. Anyone think this will be a problem. I am aiming for around 160-180 hp i have a auto so im guess i wont make it to 180 lol but im hoping. Also trying to buy a spare engine from Hector, but i still have not got the time to talk with him.
Anyone know how long it would take me to put on a new timing belt, water pump, headgasket, headstuds and a new crank pulley and harmonic balancer?
I may just have the shop put them on as well, im damn lazy and i sux.
probally cost more than install.

my head is starting to hurt from all the thinking i been doing these past weeks, im kinda unsure if i want to go thru with this now. I been lookin around @ other peoples turbo vics and it seems like everysingle one of them has had some problem with it. I mean i do expect them , but now i dont know if its worth the trouble. what should i do!? and my fuxing check wont clear in my bank for 9 days. LOL its like a cool off period to prior to purchasing a gun.... hHehe.
I could easily buy an R-6 Yamaha and kill myself on that. But the sound and feel of a turbo car is just unmatched IMO, i wish we had superchargers.

Haha. If it were me I would through with it... yes your going to face some problems, but how many turbo 7thgen vics have you seen driving on the road (besides our guys here). =)

well, if i do turbo keep boost at around 6psi, get it tuned well, hoping titan can make some time for lil ol me. How long do u think i can run it? in spare time im gonna have Hectors people/or Allversion build me up a d17 with Low comp pistons/rods/sleeves. THen swap in when its done.
I also would like to know the most common problems when boosting. Like what problems should i expect to run into, other than Headgaskets popin off like Peter North? i know of CEL's, @ six pounds there shouldnt be too much **** to think about other than Detonation and A/F i pray.

I have beaten mustang GT-2004.turboed tercel with j-spec motor at 12psi.
I would change pcv value also.I plan on getting tuned by titian soon with
e-maneged.lots of fun. do you have a new clucth because u well need 1 after a few mouths mine is slipping pretty bad when I drive hard.good luck!
