same thing happened to a friend of mine. he thought it was really cool until his transmission blew up 6 hours later. I would get it checked soon.

Titleist71 can only hope to improve
you might want to check you power steering pump. It could be leaking. I'd check the fluid level also. Tranny's don't whine by simply turning the wheel. lol.

it's ur power steering pump. i have the same problem. it's like a loud whining noise that gets louder as you push the gas down and eventually goes away after the car warms up. i replaced my belts and even the alternator itself and the noise was still there. then someone told my it was my power steering pump. and no, you tranny doesn't/shouldn't make a whining noise at all.

dru106's car made a whining noise just before the tranny went out, and now mine is starting to and the trans is slipping. there is a difference in sound because trans whine is constant and the ps is alot louder and erratic.

well it didn't get rid of the slipping and i didn't really expect it to fix a mechanical problem. oh well i'm screwed its just a matter of time now. the lc did make the tranny shift super smooth again like it used to but it still slips. really annoying
