My tranny went out today!!!
Yea, so i was at costco today and as i was about to leave i was able to put it in reverse and drive in 1st outta the parking lot. While i was on the street and when it shifted from 1st to 2nd it just stopped going so i had to push it back into the parking lot. I tried reverse and other lower gears but it wouldnt even move so i had it towed back to my house. So yea, im not sure what to do now. Should i swap or just replace the auto tranny? Oh yea, and i have an 02 LX auto..........
soooon to be psshh

if worse comes to worse and you do plan to fix it, i would say fix it unless you have the funds to do a swap because that is a whole lotta difference in money between fixing the tranny and doing a swap, im sorry to hear though

Talk to america honda and try to get it fix with honda thats what david did and they fix his tranny. Talk to david and ask him how he gots his fix. If not just go to junk yard and find a tranny and tell Drivetofast or Em2guy to install it for you.
If you want to go all out fck it put a kdub in there

or just put a stick in between the pedal and the seat and rev the bitch to redline, leave it in neutral, then go have a round of beers or something, thats a sure fire way to ruin it.

2nd gear can go up to 70ish....72 for me, if u're doing anything over 70ish on an auto and pull it back in 2nd. the engine will just neutral itself out. if you step on the gas it'll just rev.
if you go 10mph (D) and put it into reverse (R) it will do the same thing as above...any slower than 10 it'll catch gears and you wont like it.
I dont know bout going in R then D, prolly do the same thing, but everything from above happened on accident. You can ask Chase about the D into R. He'll tell you.
