How low do Ground controls really go?

How low do ground controls really go? i know they are rated at 2.5" drop but i've seen other drop their's like 4 inches. Let me know more facts about them if you could. Thanks.

check the offical drop thread.

their is a member named slammedblueem2 thats dropped on GC's and dumped on 15" si rims (aka 03 civic ex alloys). judging from his pics, id say GCs wouldnt have a problem dropping 3" easy...however their are still factors such as which vehicle

they are rated at 2.5 but they will definatley go lower. however anything lower will have some bottoming out issue on the suspension. good thing about gc's is you can raise it back up if you want
