Anyway... CMI... January 8th... anyone planning on going??

I think we'll be there... still debating on whether or not I should enter the CRV... lol

Last time i tried to get people to go on this site no one showed up except for cg. i usually go only when i race but this time my car wont be ready but im down though. My friend might be racin his eg so i might go to watch him run. I think u can run ur crv in sportsman class if they have that this event.

Well, I'll be there with a bunch of friends from other car boards. I really haven't decided to run the CRV or not... If I do, I'm going to need to do some time trials beforehand to get an idea of how I'll do.

I'll have to try and track down a stopwatch and do some trial runs this weekend sometime. If I'm pulling like 25 sec quarter miles... um... I'm going to save my $30... lol

its not all bracket racing. They have classes for 10 and 11 sec cars that are heads up. ^ in sportsman if u can keep a consistent time u have a good chance of winning

Did anyone make it out to CMI today??

We were there from about 8:30 till 5:00... ran into some friends from various sites, including a few guys who came all the way out from the San Jose area. Went to dinner with 'em afterwards... it was fun.

Overall, there was a great turn out... (the star of the show was a Toyota Echo... long story)... it was a little cold, but otherwise the weather held up pretty well.

If you went, let me know... maybe I took a picture of you on the track and wasn't even aware of it!

Nope...thought better of it since I don't have a backup vehicle right now. Should have the CRX put back together well before April, so I'm thinking of running then.
