Tire size/speedometer Question

alright, if i get lets say..17" rims or wat not, the tire radius is going to be bigger. thus, the speedometer is going to be off by some. how would you go about adjusting that?

I don't believe you can actually fix it. It can be done but you will need to crack open the tranny, find a different size gear for the speedo, and then it becomes more work then it is worth. 17's should only throw it off a few mph, maybe 1-2.

Okay, if you go to the top of the page and click on Tire Calc. you will get to see what size tires you can use to get as close as the stock ones.

Also, Hondata reworks computers and they can fix this problem. Myself, I've got the 205/40/17's and it's close enough.
