WHO: Racers, spectators and media
WHAT: Kuhmo Tires Street Warriorz offers no hold barred drag racing where competitors show up with what they have and put it up against whoever is running in the opposite lane. There is something for everybody, drag racing, ugly car contest, stereo battle, burnout contests, swim suit competition and much more. Cars must be street legal, registration and insurance required. WHEN: Saturday, October 29 2005
WHERE: California Speedway, 9300 Cherry Avenue, Fontana The quarter-mile California Dragway is located in Parking Lot 1 behind the speedway’s main grandstands.
TIME: Gates open at 12:00 pm. Tickets go on sale 1:00 pm. Tech inspection begins at 1:00 pm. Racing begins at 2:00 pm. (All times are subject to change.
COST: General admission tickets are $15 per person. Children 12 and under are free. Racer-Car/Driver - $20
NOTES: All racers must be at least 16 and have a valid driver’s license. Anyone 16 & 17 years of age must have parental (both parents) permission to race. Those forms are available at the Speedway office. If the parents are not present, the original form must be notarized.
