Problems after T-belt/cam gear change?

Well I wouldn't call them problems, but its kinda interesting that these things happened after replacing t-belt, water pump, and pulley, and putting an aem cam gear advanced 2 degrees. First the car warms up and cools down very fast. Alot faster than before. And I'm talking less than 5 minutes from a cold start the temp needle is up where it should be. Second, my AC is ice cold. Before it was cold enough but now its like putting your hand in the freezer. I'm not complaining, just wondering what happened.

ya i did add the special long life blue honda coolant but thats not really tied to anything. Oh maybe my ac belt was loose? For the cam gear, you have to remove all the plastic dust covers or it will rub and dig grooves in it. I learned the hard way. But yea water pump might as well since they were pulling everything off anyway. Now I don't have to worry for a while. Do you think i should have done the thermostat too? I guess that can be done anytime tho

I was thinking the same thing. I want an ice cold AC.

As for the thermostat, it cant easily be done at any time. Its not an expensive part, so might as well go ahead and do it anyway.

the thermostat is located at the inlet to the lower radiator hose. you need to remove the hose and the thermostat cover to access it.
