Houston: place to pass my 20% tint
so I went to renew my inspection, well the guy didn't want to pass me coz i have 20% tint..
do you know a place or any hook up that will pass my 20% tint? i live in SW area

You arent going to get anyone on here to tell you where to go to get an illegal inspection. if the wrong person reads it, bad **** will happen. It also jeoperdizes this website. If someone reads this site and sees that illegal info is placed in here, derek will run into problems.
Now I used to have the same problem, the first time I just took the front side tint off and had it done. But do realize that the EPA tries to crack down on shops by trying to bribe state inspectors to let them get there car inspected. they will bring in cars that cant pass emissions and see if they will pass it. And they have no idea it is the EPA. And most inspectors make ony $6-$7 an hour and will do it, but others wont risk it. And you found one that wont risk it. The fine if you do get caught is pretty hefty. I am talking about in the tens of thousands of dollars.
Now most people that have illegal stuff on there car usually know someone who does inspections and thats how they get it. Otherwise you just need to remove your front tint, go get the inspection and then get retinted or do it and get lighter tint next time so you dont have to worry about this problem.

Rep Power: 309 hopefully the guy will pass me. I have 20% as well but it is no biggie if I have to take it off.. it is only $30 bucks to get them retinted =)
