Shocks help
most bottom out and "clunk" is the best way to describe the noise, not all of the go out at the same time, i was always told to replace them at the same time because although they dont go out at the same time, if one has enough wear to blow, the others will soon, another good reason to replace both (front or rear) is because shocks become less stiff over time, so if on one side of the car u have a nicely brandly new shock and on the other side, u have one that 80-90% worn, it will have a horrible ride and uneven tire wear (i think)
