Checking interest: E-manage Ultimate PnP & some other goodies
Ok party people....the time has come to take the D17 to the next plateau. We just started to scratch the surface with our Stage I Core & Stage I Value Package turbo systems, which are already pretty well known and respected.
*We then initiated the 1st true Equal Length D17 manifold that retained ABS, A/C & P/S.
*We then simplified one of the most break through D17 fuel & ignition systems around with a Plug N Play harness. (E-manage Blue)
Now we wondering if there is enough demand for a PnP for the E-Manage Ultimate?
Furthermore....as an FYI the following are in devlopment right now for the D17
1.) D17 Standalone fuel system
2.) D17 Intake Manifold
3.) D17 Stage II & Stage III turbo systems

R&D and pioneering custom parts NEVER comes cheap. Sorry we can not produce these parts cheaper. Volumes of demand create a cheaper unit.
I've talked to you about the ultimate p n p harness. Here's the thing. For people wanting over 250 whp, they're going to need larger injectors. An intake manifold with a rail that will accommodate those injectors would be what's needed as well as an emanage ultimate to control them. I think you're on the right track for people who want serious power.
I really would like to test a p n p harness with my ultimate if you guys could come up with a prototype, I know where all of the wires go/etc as well as jumper settings, I just haven't been able to get the car going because of my hack wiring job and I don't want to try to rewire it again, I'd rather just have something neat and clean like your harness.

Hopefully next summer Ill be running a dezod kit and a return line fuel system on my 01 em2. I realy want about and around 300 hp eventually but will be permagrinned with even 250 to the wheels and a mid 13 sec 1/4 mile et. How much psi u think I would need to run these numbers? Dezod is the man, him and ed @ truehonda have giving me hope for my 1.slow(what my volkswagenhead buddys call my em2)
i know this is kinda off topic dezod but i was wondering if you plan to do a manifold for those of us suing a internal wastegate. i am going ot be using a t3/t4 .48ar and a 50trim. it is internall gated and i know i can just ditch the whole flapper assembly that is on the hot side. but i kinda like the ease of not having a divorced wastegate tube to deal with. i appreciate it and awesome news about the new harnesses. plug and play is ideal for people like me that suck at soldering and such. i can run stereo wires like a mad man but the smaller they get the worse i am.

They make block-off plates for TiAl wastegate flanges. Just buy Dezod's manifold and pop one of those on. No need for a custom job.

So when will this stuff be out? Also is it going to be like you have to have the intake manifold to run the fuel system? You know what i mean like you have to buy everything in order for it to work? I would be highly interested in a fuel system
Depends on what you want. If you want an adjustable fuel pressure regulater, yes, you need a return line. But that isn't necesarry if you size your injectors properly. Even if you pick up a rail with a fitting for a return line, you can always cap it if you need to, that's what I did, at least for now.

Hey Paul, whenever you get a chance, I really need to talk to you about the ultimate. I got the car running today finally and everything seemed cool but I got a code fo the vtec. Then I ended up misfiring on cyl 3 and 4. I can't seem to figure out why....but I'd like to discuss it with you. The VTEC issue seems to me like it has something to do with the jumpers and maybe the setting for the vehicle....

Not sure why. I'm afraid it may be related to the jumpers. Last night, when I checked the voltage on the injectors, 3 and 4 had nothing and 1 and 2 had about 12V. I tried again today to see if I could figure out if it was maybe an ecu driver so I pulled the emanage harness and plugged the ecu harness directly into the ecu with no emanage and had current on all injectors and I double checked my coils just in case and everything seemed good.
So I decided to check the jumpers again. It's weird. The ultimate has a jumper for VTEC input. One setting is just for vtec and the other setting was for vtec K20a. So I had it set for K20a and decided to try changing to regular vtec. Neither worked. There's also a support tool setting for engine type, one of which was for K20a, so that was the closest one I could use. Bottom line, I couldn't get it started today so I'm not sure, just going to have to make some phone calls and see what I can figure out.

dezod if you want I can send you a boost manifold for cost. I have a few different options with them but I can put together a beautiful topmount TB manifold with velocity stack runners that will work really really good with boost. It will save mucho time in development and help the 7thgen community. I have all the cnc flange programs to except the factory o-ring gaskets, and the factory cruise control is still functional as well.

Well, update on the ultimate....
I got it working. I couldn't figure out the vtec settings. For now, I'm just going to bypass the vtec control from the emanage but everything else seems cool.
No more barometric pressure code, either. At least as long as you don't use the injector correction control factor. If you just use the individual injector maps, you can trim the fuel up no problem.
Nothing else is giving any trouble at this point. I am going to try desperately to get tuned next weekend. If I find out anything else by then, I'll post it up.
And the issue I was having with the misfiring was due to my injectors freezing up. I went ahead and swapped them out and that took care of that issue.
