whats there to do with your girl around here?
my girl is always wanting to go out and do stuff and i've run out of things to do...movies, dinner, ice cream, etc... i've even done all the cheesy date crap like mini golf, bowling, ice skating. i need some more ideas, help me out! and shes not into cars so scratch any car related ideas.

and let me just get this out of the way so no one else will say it...
have some sex!
have some sex!
theres cheap tour of the bay. cool and cheap idea is to go on the marin county side of the golden gate and theres a park right there where the sun rise is freakin nuts over the fog of the bay. theres sky diving in lodi on hwy99. theres a ton of cool clubs that have up and coming bands playing for like 10 bux a head every week. berkley and stanford tickets are cheap even if she isnt in to football its like a huge party. tahoe is awesome for the weekend. or just go up us50 to sly park or ice house and go camping. take her to sf and walk in the lil shops in china town. take her to oakland and get raped. olive garden has the never ending pasta bowl going right now. go down to monterey theres the fish tank thingy and a cool lil tourist part of town. in sac you can rent rafts at sunrise bridge and raft down the river and when you get to the end theres a van that drives you back to your car. go to old sac. you can try windsurfing or kiteboarding at sherman island.

Dang. Come on dude, if you live around here you HAVE to have SOME imagination in your dates...!
-Check out scenic places (aka makeout places): On hillsides are the best. There's a nice place over by Moraga that I know of, near you. Nighttimes are best...
-Check out the stereotypical tourist place: My girl is always bugging me to to to the city... pier 39, golden gate park, etc. Or Jack London Square, or some touristy park of interest.
-Romatic places to eat: Find a nice place... semi-formal is good. Girls like to be whined and dined.
-Unconventional places: Hidden places that no one knows about, your own nook and cranny, etc.
-Farther places: Big Trees, Lake Tahoe, Reno, Sacramento, The Delta, Monterey, Ft. Bragg, Historical Points of interest... all this stuff takes longer though, it's not just a little friday night thing to do, it's more of a Saturday all-day thing.
-If you want something for strictly like a friday night... thing to do, then you might want to get inventive with picnics, renting boats, etc. Otherwise the only thing I could suggest would be to get some more friends and hang out in a group. That always works
Good luck man!

watch the weather for thunderstorms in your area. thats what me and my girl did tonight. we drove over to starbucks, got some good drinks and a pastry and parked in an open spot so we could watch the lightning and talk to each other.

Of all the "people watching" I'd like to do, Bart ranks low. It's somewhere around the the "creature watching" that Xam mentioned ^.
Don't get me wrong, Bart's a great way to get around the bay, but it's not exactly ideal. Some of the weirdos that get on there.... well. I'm sure you've heard some of the stories...

How about old town sac. Its a nice place to go grab lunch or a nive dinner on the water. They have shops and stuff(which my lady loves) and just about any kind of food you could crave. Also Tahoe is pretty close and one look at that lake and man you might have sex on the beach........lol jk.

1. Friday Night – Hit up Old Sac and go to Fanny Ann’s Saloon or O’Mally’s Pub. Both are interesting little hole-in-the-wall kind of places and are good spots to throw one back and shake your booty a little. Plus O’Mally’s has a pool table… Fanny Ann’s has a small arcade on the third floor.
2. Saturday – Let’s say it’s a warm day and you don’t have a lot of $$$ to throw down. Get a couple of big @$$ innertubes and float down the Sacto river for a while. Then, dry off and grab a quick bite at The Bread Store on 17th and J or grab a burger at Hamburger Mary’s.
3. Looking for a romantic evening? Make dinner reservations aboard the Delta King. Get whatever sounds good on the menu… and a bottle of wine. After nightfall, take your girl outside and walk along the boat’s decks. The reflections of the Tower Bridge and Money Store building (pyramid) are awesome. Take a moment to plant a big smooch on her… you know… do the squishy stuff that made her fall in love with you in the first place.
4. Out of town – If she’s into skiing/boarding… definitely head up to Tahoe after the first couple of snowstorms. Otherwise you can check out Apple Hill or (next spring) visit Daffodil Hill.
5. If she’s into the cheesy date kind of stuff… I say take her out rollerskating/blading, shoot some pool, go out for laser tag, take a walk in William Land Park and go to the zoo, hit a local theme park (ie: Great America or Six Flags), etc. etc.
6. Never underestimate the power of having a nice evening at home. Cook her dinner then snuggle up to watch a movie. Who knows… this one might get you a little nookie.

it also depends on the girl. if she constantly NEEDS to be out doing something (if so, it's inevitable you'll run out of things to do) - or if she's okay with just renting a movie.
- take the ferry from oakland to sf.
- the berkeley marina has the pier that you can walk and it seems like you'll just walk to sf - it was used before the bay bridge was made. and you can see people catch all kinds of crazy fish and sting ray looking fish.
- try different foods - my bf's navi system has all the restaurants - and we'll just pick a food type and then a restaurant to try.
- berkeley and walnut creek have gelateria naia - a fantastic gelato place! (and gelato is healthier then ice cream) open until 10 or 11.
- drive in movies (although i've never been)
- make up double dates with friends
- spend the day at gg park. hit up the tea gardens and the botanical gardens.
- fog city diner in sf is where they shot some of "so i married an axe murderer" - one of my bf's favs.
- hit up japantown in the city.
- as girly as it sounds - hit a day spa together
- plan a day for her and her girls! get the other "bf's" together and plan a day for all of them (maybe you can send THEM to the day spa)
- rent scootcars in SF. it isn't a "car" thing - its' actually really fun. (http://www.scootcar.net/)
- go to an arcade and spend your money playing air hockey. personally i like sunnyvale golf land (they have bust-a-move there, so any female will be happy)
- try to find the real world house, mrs. doubtfire house, etc.. things in SF.
- pier 39 has the aquarium of the bay (if monterey is too far)
- oakland zoo is another good one
- see what's playing at your local college. universities usually have some really great shows within their performing arts
- comedy shows are also a good one
hope that helps.

well we both get off about 5-6pm so we have the evening time to hang out, but yeah only every other 2 weeks for a full day.
hmmm...there's a lot less to do here in norcal than in socal. i usually get really bored too. if you guys like some outdoor activity, try the hiking trail near mission in san jose. there's also some good seafood in daly city. the weather here is usually colder than socal, so wear a bit more. also, there is this really nice place on alameda near the Santa Clara University. I dunno if you've ever heard of it, but's called University Chicken (aka Cluckies). it's an awesome chicken place, that offers some really good food as well as a "911 Challenge" in which you have to eat 12 of the spiciest chicken ever in 12 minutes, without any water 10 minutes before or after, nor any napkins. if you win, you get your pic on the hall of fame as well as a Tshirt! be careful though, you have to sign death waivers before taking the challenge...
