Looking for co-op job...
I study Civil Engineering in UW, and currently looking for a co-op position in Kitchner or Waterloo or Cambridge, Wutever related to Civil Engineering is good ( Consulting company, Contractor, Surveyer,...) I've already done one work-term with CCL/IBI so I got the experience.
I really need to find a job since I just moved out and need $$ to live, so anything will be good. Thanks in advance

For what CoOp term? Because if it's for the current September - Dec 2005 term, you're a bit late... If you've been trying, and you haven't gotten anything yet, either i) Civil jobs are really hard to come by, or ii) you can't interview or don't have the skills, and you're now 'the bottom of the barrel' if employers want to pick you up as a student.
If you're looking for the Sept term, you can't be picky about location either eh, just an FYI...
I currently have 6 UWaterloo CoOp students for the Sept-Dec 2005 term, all in the IT fields.
To be honest, I would not hire someone that is not interested in my field. (i.e. I was looking for my 6th student in August, and all I got were Mechatronics, Chemical, and Civil engineers applying for an IT job.)
Good luck, I can help with resumes if required, I'm the king when it comes to them - I offer free resume services at the end of the term to all of my students, if they want it.
Furball.

thanks, mad props to u for hiring UW students. Last term I was working in a good company with good pay, in August I decided to move out cuz I couldn't get along with my dad so I decided to take this term off so I can save some $$ for school. My buddy's uncle is working in a big company in KW and the company (MRC) had said that they'l take me but they backed off after I moved to KW, So thats why I'm late, but still I believe there are some employers out there looking for a co-op students, cuz co-ops are cheap, as u know
& for the Resume, maybe I can email mine to u so u can help me edit it a bit, that would be great. thanks
