New Daily Driver?

I'm looking into the new 2006 Civic and wondering if anyone had opinions to share about the i-VTEC engine? It is said to acheive more powerful performance as well as improved fuel economy. I work indirectly for Honda, so as I was browsing the site I was excited to see the redesign of the whole Civic lineup.

Also, if anyone could point me in the direction of some better pictures that would be great I'm currently at newcivic.honda.com and I'd like to see some better pics! Thanks

Al Gore FTW is a glorious beacon of light

the new civic, its an awesome redesign, i like it a lot, but the gas pedal is the only thing i dont like about it, along with the drive by wire throttle. the gas pedal is bolted to the floor and hinged. there are pics up at hondacars.com. oh, and compared to the 7thgen, the new sedans/coupes are just slightly quicker.
