damn it, I called Honda on it and he told me "Honda's has different part numbers for AT and MT" but he doesn't know if they would still work..........so I'm pretty much stuck in this situation--------->
typically the axle shafts for a MT will not work in an AT and vice versa.
The only way to tell for sure is to measure the axle shaft from end to end and see if the length is the same as for the other.
usually the AT axle shafts are shorter because the auto-transaxle is larger. The axles dont need to go as far.
I own the factory honda shop manuals for the coupe/sedan civics from 01 - 03 so i can look it up when i get home from work...

call me on my cell to remind me if i forget, 602-790-9961 - jim
