Good news, aftermarket oil filter magnet not needed.

I was told by the parts guy that the OEM oil filter's have a magnet in them already. In addition, the display case in the service waiting area showed a cut fram, oth no name and an OEM filter. The OEM definately showed more filtering elements than the others, including the magnet, though tiny, never-the-less, it's in there. Good news, no?

Thanks for the info..............you just may have saved me 30 bucks for the Spoon plug.

Really? Hum... Good to know. I was going to buy a filter magnet. I'll rip apart my oil filter to check if that's really true the next time I change the oil. Thanks for the info. dude.
