Got a pair of rims, of a set of four i just purchased for a project available. I paid $525.00 for the set of four, more out of necessity than need of the excess quantity. I'm using one in the project, and keeping one as a reserve spare, leaving two up for grabs. I'm more interested in preventing excessive crap laying about the garage, come project time, rather than to make a profit at selling the two rims. I'd just like to get back a few dollars and make the cost of two reasonable, if not a bargain for my project requirements.



I'm looking for $100.00 per rim, for $200.00 total. The rims still have 185/65R15 Firestone FR690's with ~50-60% tread on 'em. the clear-coated alloy rims are very clean, and dust/lug caps are included. Local high volume wrecking yard wanted $150.00 including shade tree mechanics discount per for these rims, if they could source them for me. They couldn't, and i needed this specific rim for the project. Thus, my surplus needs might be someone elses reasonable deal for some beater alloys.

These alloy's were used (afaik) on 2002 Civic EX's and the like as a dealer trim package option. 5.5" width rim. Perfect set of 'pretty' alloys to set up with snow tires as the driving wheels.

Located in burlington/oakville area, I can deliver if in reasonable range in the GTA.

Radical price drop - $60.00 per rim, 2 rims available. Winters coming, have you got some nice, heavier rims set up with snow treads on your driving wheels for winter yet?.

If I had 4 available, they'd either a. be on a car of my own, and b. more expensive combined as a set of 4.

Thats why they are adverted as a set of two, suitable for winter season tire use, for sale basically dirt cheap... I had to buy a set of 4, at considerable expense, for the sake of 1... at the end, my cost per rim is going to be a lot more $$ than the person buying them at $60.00 per.. i didn't have a choice in the matter, since my needs were for 1, + 1 backup for a non-honda application immediately

Yes, thanks, that same 'hdave' already contacted me, interested in the two i have, and my guess is he's looking at other avenues to get another two to make up a good cheap set of four. Good on him for a little motivation to see if he can come up with another matching pair... but i tried that route already, for a three month search

I don't have them off the tires at present, but an edumucated guess is in the neighborhood of 16 lbs each. They are 5.5" wide rims though - for drag racing duty, you'd likely want to move up to 6" rim territory for a wider 195-205 series radial.
