I bought these and the installer said that they are too deep to fit in the door ... even with a spacer.... is this true...if so then I must sell. Asking $120 USD + shipping OBO. These are 6.5 inch components.

you have to use a spacer and still cut the doors out. it sucks but can be done.

even with a spacer the guy told me that it is hitting the window. with the spacer then he said he won t be able to put the door ack, the bastket is just too deep

you mean the speake r will be able to seek in side the car? it is a leased car, not sure if i wanna be cutting away at the door, if i am understnading correctly.... cuz the rear is restricted by the window...so i guess it would have to be cut so the speaker is protruding into the car....

yes i did and i don't see what the problem is. the stock speakers should still fit in after if you need to out them back in. if you don't wanna cut anything then your choices in speakers are limited.
