Anyone watch Top Gear last night?
Nice to see this show on US television. Discovery Channel, 10 PM eastern. Had a bunch of 70-80 year old grannies doing donuts in an S2K, and a guy driving to the top of a mountain in a Range Rover.

Yea i caught that last night, hell the ladies were having a blast in that yellow S2K. That Range Rover kept getting stuck, he was tearing that damn thing apart.
Best show on TV. I was surprised with how much Jerremy loved the Ford GT. I mean he gets to drive cars made by Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, etc, and he was really taken by the GT. Maybe us yanks actually can build a decent car.

Rep Power: 0 Where did you learn that he returned his? He said he was gettin one of the 28 getting shiped to the UK last night, oh yea and the range rover......for stock tire size, mud tires...driving up a huge mountain and only gettin stuck twice....Impressive to me.

Rep Power: 332 the british version is better than ours, because with ours they have to go back and edit some of the dialogue. its still pretty cool that they brought top gear over here, instead of attempting to start a new series produced over here. that would be a disaster

Rep Power: 299 yeah i actually like that show....all the others i get bored with this one ...u would never see anyone parachute into a car...have a lotus outrun the radar of a camanche helecopter....have 3 junkers and run them to the ground, have an evo face off with a lambo....this show is great...i just love it

Rep Power: 304 I liked the episode where they tried to kill a toyota truck. And then the second one where they dropped it with a building. And it STILL ran. Top gear is great. I tivo it at all times. Saw last nights s2k episode too. Wish it was me doing donuts in one.
yep the US top gear episodes are pieces of the old british ones put together
