how the F@#k do i get this off
im trying to take the piece that goes around my instrument panel off. the plasic ring so i can paint it. it has the 2 screws that are on the top. i cant get it to come out. are there other scews im not seeing? i know this is prolly easy but u know how ppl can be

Yeah I attempted to take it off once. I unscrewed the top screws, and pulled like a mad man but it didn't come out. I was afraid that if I pulled any harder, that it would break. But now I see that it's normal that it should feel that way. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks for the comments!

Rep Power: 0 just undo the top two screws. wedge your hands into the top and the sides, and give it a good, hard pull. It will get easier after you see how much force to use. I pulled the crap out of mine, and I thought for sure it was going to break, but it didn't. It's pretty flexible. good luck, pull it hard, and don't be a wus.
