40 series or 45 ???
Any one here on the site riddin on 45? I heard that our cars can't have 45 on 17's. Is that true? I wanted to go 205/45/17. How would that look? Can someone please shed some light on this?
go with 215/45/ZR17's they look very nice, I wish I could show you pics but I don't have them on anymore. I took them off cause of all the potholes we have around here and I couldn't be the one who destroys a rim! They look very nice though!!!!
wussup......... i live in the city and i recommend 215/45's........
I hit hella bumps and shizt and i havent' got a dent rim yet...... plus
the extra lining on my tires help when i hit the curb when i park....
Check out my car in member ride for how 215/45 look

I'd say get 40's if you want the more agressive looking ride and have streets that will accomodate them. Get 45's if you are worried about denting/bending your rims on potholes and speedbumps. And another thing, use the tire calculator on the top of the page to figure out which tire will give you the smallest error reading your speedo...
will you make out with me

I have 215/45/17's on mine, and I live in the great pothole state of Michigan. Still haven't dented them. Both of the profiles look great, it's just up to your taste, your driving style, and your local road conditions.
