dmv license renewal when u turn 21
hey guys, i got my renewal letter like a month ago from DMV telling me to renew it before my bday (later this month).. for some reason, they make me do a bunch of stuff : pay renewal fee (given), take written test, take a vision test, have your thumb print and photo taken ... i asked all my friends and they all told me that when they turned 21, all they had to do was mail in the renewal fee and stuff.. but for me, i have to make an appointment and do all that.. did anyone else get a letter like mine?? i had 0 tickets, been in 2 accidents (i got rearended both times).. my cop friend said there's no reason for any of those..

Rep Power: 334 I have had to take my written test over again, but it was due to the fact that people may have reported me to the DMV (for bad driving) or the points on my record. Did you know that if enough people call/write and complain about you, you can be asked to take the test for your renewal?
