New Skyline... post info here
Anyone who has got links, pics, or anything about the next skyline you should post it here. Any solid info about the US release (if there will be one), spy shots, etc. would be awesome!!!
For me; I am so anxious that about when I get out of college this car *might* be released in the US. which means if I can get a good job ill have a VERY nice project car. All this work for my computer engineering degree hopefully will pay off!

Other than that, the rumor mill has been working over-time online... as you can imagine. I've read all sorts of ***** about V6's, V8's, etc... But, as ragingSPAM said, we're all jsut going to have to wait and see what Nissan has up their sleeve, lol.

lol i just wanted people to add info here about the concept!
and the R34 skyline wanst that expensive of a supercar. cheaper than some non-supercars like a few lambos, porsches, and ferraris to name a few.

The only info that I have heard whatsoever was the G35 GT-R and the anniversary edition R34. As far as a re-release date? I seriously hope not... I like seeing very few Skylines rolling around the US. If they actually become widely available to the general public, I think that they will lose a lot of the glamour and mysticism associated with it. One of my teammates has a sick R33. If I found out that his neighbor(generalization) was now able to get one it would seriously **** me off...

There have been a couple of brief blurbs about it in the various magazines. From what I've read, it will be based off the G35 coupe (but with more agressive styling), have either a V8 or a twin-turbo V6 powerplant, and likely wear in Infiniti badge.
Man people keep calling it a Skyline. The Skyline and Skyline GT-R nameplates have been separated. Skyline is the current G35, the GT-R will be called Nissan GT-R (Infiniti in the states). It will be based off the G35 coupe with a wider body, the usual Atessa ET-S, VQ engine, and likely a twin turbo. Unlike the R34 GT-R it will be marketed as an international supercar, and will be unveiled probably next year. Release is currently set at 07.

Bringing over a Skyline is no big deal, I think most people here are greatly misunderstanding what a Skyline is, so lemme make a parallel.
Think of Skyline as a 3 series.
Think of Skyline GT-R as the M3.
Hence, Skyline's aren't a big deal, but bringing over the GT-R is. Of course, there are those who are oblivious to this and spend 20-30k bringing over GTS-Ts and GTS-25s without even realizing that most cars here would rip them to shreds.
