I think the guy who created the image probably doesnt live in the US or doesnt know much about US auto market. MG is not really independent. Wheres scion? wheres saturn? where's gmc? the cars i just listed are cars only sold in north america. and dont forget to mention all those lil japanese car companies that only sell in Japan. Those look like car brands you would only see in Europe.

that whole things just gives noobs a basic idea of how the automotive market is layed out, its good for those people who think there is nothing remotely the same between every company because they dont know that companys create partnerships and make deals sharing platforms and drivetrains.
for those who are more in tune with the automotive market we can pick out many flaws with the picture as most already have. however its old so it sux.
