Sometimes I want to smack people...
Driving yesterday, a 04-05 civic pulled up behind me. I looked back and there was a mercedes symbol where the H used to be. We both got on the highway and I saw it was a civic DX...not that any civic is comparable to a mercedes, but definitely not the base model. Then I see his rear and there is another mercedes symbol where the H is supposed to be and a E 02 in mercedes lettering. It wasn't some kid either...dumbass

so i guess to some people civics look like luxury cars

honestly, if i saw a civic with a merc badge i would steal it cause it would give me a headache also. thats like idiots in my neighborhood that have VTEC badges on a celica, and yes i said badges, in the plural sense

People have mistaken my car for a 3.30, M3, G35, Accord, and a few others that I can't remember. The one who thought it was a G35 was a kid driving his dad's G35 sedan and wondered if I thought my G35 coupe was more "sporty." The guys who mistook it for Bimmers were security guards doing random checks on my car when I went on base (two seperate incidents.)
