Installing my turbo kit again
Ok, im thinking about installing my turbo kit this weekend or next. my boy saud he will help me but i think ill be able to install it by myself. everything that was fab. is done all i need to do is just bolt everything up. so i figure that it shouldnt take long at all. maybe 5 hours. how long has it taken you guys?
the only thing i need to buy is the plug and play harness for the e-manage so then i do not need to cut wires and whatnot.
Does anyone have directions on how to put together a internal wastegate? Cauase the place who took my turbo kit off took apart my wastegate. im still trying to figure out why.
i think tommrow if i can figure out how to do the wastegate then ill start witht he install. if i get my car back from the shop got into a lil accident.
Does anyone have any insite for installing?i have to install the whole kit, also rsx-s injectors, e-manage.
Also i do not have the support tool for the e-manage. could i get away with driving the car to a shop to get tuned if i do not boost the car?

not really. Just hook the rod back up.
they cant take apart the actuator itself, because its crimped together. They cant take the flapper apart, because its pressed together. And those are pretty much the only parts.

I was looking for a while for DIY internal wastegate on google. Nothing...
Good luck, I hope your kit works nicely this time.
Since I have the same prob with my settings (different unit, same prob though) not saving, Ill let you know what happens with a 2nd battery, possibly a rechargeable one.
Im in the process, sort of, of looking for options on running my unit off of. Ill let you know what I come up with, since I have to leave my unit running constantly.
Good luck and if youve installed it before yourself, it shouldnt take but 10-12 hours tops. I could get my TSI kit installed pretty damn quick now, but Ive taken parts off and on so many times now. I know how it all goes together.
Peace

i cant understand why it didnt work right the first time and why the e-manage did not hold its settings. the only one reason why i think it didnt and if its the reason im going to shove my foot up some poeples asses.
ok so, when i got my e-manage installed the first time they tried tuning it but by leaving the tsi injector control unit in. i told the 2 places i went to to place the the tsi unit out cuase that it prob why it was not holding settings. i mean to me it makes sence cuase i had 2 units trying to to the same thing in a way. so im hoping after i order my plug and play for the e-manage ill be fine.
whe i get my kit all installed. should i take my car to get the e-manage installed and my rsx-s injectors, or do it myself? I do not have the support tool so i was wondering can i drive my car with it not tuned right to a shop without boosting it?
