I have TSI kit. It comes with black box (MAP hack). You have to tap in in to OEM MAP for voltage, groud and signal in/out.
I suspect it doesnt work in my car. Connected or disconnected - no changes, harsh/low idle, stalls when slowing down after run.

I saw there is a thing calld Missing Link and Chack valve thing.

We have a MAP sensor, not a MAF.

But, then, is it MAP sensor there I use vacuum line for the boost?

The MAP is what need mask boost from with a check valve like Synapse or a voltage clamp with the E-Manage

Is this what tsi black box does? Its intersepting and changing voltage #'s on that (I dont know name if it, I thought it was MAF, so its MAP?) sensor.
BTW: Plug for the sensor I'm talking about, located on the drivers side off the TB, little below vacuum lines?
Can I substitute it with a series of check valves as attachment shows in the main post?

yeah...i think my black box aint working either..cause my car idles at 1500 rpm around there and when i take off...the car turns off on me...and plus i cant hit WOT..maybe ill get the 3 check valves but how much psi can the check vavles handle up to anyway??

My idle is fine when i strat/restart engine.
At start idle will be fine, with this idle car will drive very well under boost or no boost, WOT or partial throttle.
Then on neutral will rise it will rise to about 1500-2000 after 1-2 boosted runs. Then with this idle I cant take off, engine coughs and then shuts down.

Have you have same thing?

May be black box - 2 peoplewith new kits?

mine shuts down on neutral too....and when i take off..it shuts down on me too and it idles at 1800 aroudn there...i got he 3 gm1 check valves and new secondary o2 sensor

black box is the same as a missing link I believe (does the same thing).

What about the 3 check valvs as on the pic in the main post, do they substitute missing link?

If yes, then, theris no tubes on the MAP to connect the valves to, I think i'm confused
