I wonder what the gains are, because if I had to take a guess, for 4200, the N/A gains arn't worth it. But that IS some mighty fine equipment. You guys never cease to amase me Eddie.

Oh man I didn't even see the part where it said "specify ratio" I only saw that it had 14 on it. That's why I didn't think you were marketing this for the boost crowd. I retract my previous statement. =)

You're probably almost guaranteed that you're going to need some sort of piggback ECU for this thing. Either an emanage or an AEM EMS. So, expect at least another $1000 for an ECU and then however much it's going to be for tuning. I'd say in total, you're probably looking at ~$6000 to build a D17.

D Series Squad is always being helped out here! Let us know, its a big package and im willing to do cost on the 1st person to purchase it as long as they give results of what has happen.

Think about it this way, the 7thgen is like the 96-00 civic of the day. Soon, more and more parts are going to come out to make it a serious buildable car like these have. so in time, more people will decide to build etc... why not be the first to set records

Would the OEM rods work with the CP pistons for N/A?
Do you need to overbore for the pistons to fit ?
Are this pistons for the D16Y8 engine ?

They can work with stock rods but the rods are the weakest link of the D17
Overbore if you wish to go with a .25 over, but stock size works.
The pistons are for the D17 only and were engineered for it, not the D16y8.

Lets say with 11:1 CP pistons, rods, the crank, mill the head, valvetrain package and a stage 3 cam = 160-170whp depending on tuning. Thats a guess. Cams like high compression!!!!!!

Would you need AEM EMS 30-1030U(or 30-1070) for this set-up, or would the greddy e-manage be ok ?
