Yes, it's ac and power steering friendly. I'm not sure it will fit an LX or not. If it has the same engine then it should..(don't know much about the new civics)

It really comes down to the ABS on cars.... Hence why the EX's can't have a "normal" IC pipe layout and the LX/DX can.

If it fits the ex, it will fit the lx. The only difference you may have to worry about is the downpipe. When they built the kit, they built it to clear the vtec solenoid and the ABS. Since the Lx doesnt have those options, you have even more clearance than the EX. And the lx has nothing that the Ex doesnt.

So tempting...I got the cash right now, but I don't know if it will work for a DX with auto tranny though. LOL! Thought about just saving up for a K20 down the line in about the next 5 years.

Well, about the auto DX, I can tell you if the IC piping runs along the drivers side, since you don't have ABS and such, it would fit (after you removed the windshield washer resevoir). Being an automatic really has notihng to do with it besides the tranny issues of holding power. Your DX, since it's the lowest model has the most room in the engine bay and thats why alot of the kits are focused around DX/LX models. It's us with the EX's that run into problems and needs to have that single ended IC. I can almost gaurentee you, 99%, that this will fit your DX, with little or no modifications.
