Exhaust Systems for 01-03 4dr DX/LX ???

Hi.

I checked out so many websites that sell exhaust systems for our Civics but most of them are only for 2dr Civics and EX models or they don't specify.

Do we have any choices for 01-03 4dr DX/LX models???

Here is the list of exhausts that fix the 2dr models. Can you tell me which ones actually can fit 01-03 4dr DX/LX models?

DC Sports Single Canister
Flowmaster Force II
HKS Hi-power series rear section
RS-R ExMag
Thermal ST
Apex-i N1
Apexi WS
Greddy EVO2
Invidia
Skunk2 MegaPower
Tanabe Hyper Medalion

Thanks

Freestyle

Do you think it is good idea to just get a BORLA muffler with a tip and replace the stock muffler.

Will my Civic LX lose any more and will it be too loud???

I know that Toyota dealers put Borla mufflers on their Corollas and Celicas if you get performance package and since those engines are high reving engines as in the Civic, it should work too??

you could go with that.. but remember that the piping has to go along with that. If your going to do it, do it right the first time by replacing CAT -Back

I respectfully disagree. HKS came out with an axle-back only design (hi-power) because after tests they determined the stock midpipe is sufficient given our tiny SOHC engines. (This has been discussed ad nauseum so a lil searching might be helpful). With HKS Hi-Power Exhaust you will gain a lil top end HP without losing any low end torque, which is what I wanted and I am quite satisfied with this setup for an LX sedan. Also saves you about $300 bucks compared to most quality stainless or alum mandrel bend cat back systems. Sound wise, HKS is about right for me, not too loud but nice roar esp with new header. Of course, this opinion assumes no FI is planned. Just a nice improvement for stock engine without loss of torque.

axle back.. you mean just a rear section exhaust.. well thats not much and even from what i've read my experience with 3 different rear sections tells me otherwise. Plus I am running boost now so cat -back makes a difference. Now it all depends on application of whats wanted and/or needed.

Do you have any pictures of HKS Hi-power axle back system?

Do you have any sound clips of the HKS system?

I am still wondering if I replace the stock muffler only with Borla muffler, will the exhaust be too loud? Will it sound deep or rice like.....

Freestyle.
