13.911 at 107 mph with lx auto no joke
I was wondering if anyone else has a lx auto or ex auto and bounces off rev limiter big time from 1st to 2nd and a few times from 2nd to 3rd.I ran last friday in tucson,az and my set up is a custom turbo manifold with a vf 23 ball bearing kiss *** turbo with 3 inch down pipe and rsx injectors with high flow fuel pump and fmu.I ran a few times and my best was that 13.911 at 107 @ 10.8 psi on race fuel.Everyone at the track was like damn when i beat the new cobalt ss supercharged.I want to talk some more but i want to get some people input i know a lot about 7th gen civic so if anyone has any questions about lightening or turbo set ups im pretty educational. Thanks. Matt lx-T

Honestly I would like to see some slips becuase I think that it would take alot more than 10.8psi to push a 5spd to a 107 trap let alone an auto. I could be wrong and it would be great if I was because I would love to see the break down on those messed up slips.

i'd also think it would take more than 10psi.
high flow fuel pump? i thought the 7th gen's fuel pump was not serviceable and is located within the baffles, and not reachable without removing the gas tank......

just curious about your setup. what kind of fuel pump? and how did you install it since it's inside the gas tank?
did you adjust the timing on your cam gear?
have you dyno'd the car?
what ratio fuel/air pressure FMU are you using? you also realize an FMU isn't exactly the best thing to be using with your setup, considering you're not running stock injectors as well. not to mention your ECU is going to be fighting with the FMU.
and why did you even bother getting the venom 400?

this is going to be interesting.
Just for your knowledge, we just ran my buddies 01 Celica at the track, and on 21 psi he ran a 13.30 @ 105 mph on some DR's. He had got it running earlier that day and tuned it with only an innovate wideband for about an hour.

damn, you should get your auto tranny serviced by level 10 or get work done to it.
i would try some very sticky tires... what were you using at the track?
im guessing your stripped to the bone as well when you got this time?

wow we need more info cause stock the auto runs 17-18s, turbo the most I've seen is 150whp at 8psi. Its just hard to believe, but maybe you have alot more done than you say. I wouldn't think the stock tranny would take that kind of abuse for more than a few weeks.

I got it, I got it!!!!!!!!!!
it is possible to have a low 13 sec to high 12 sec auto 7thgen!
k29a3 swap with Rsx tranny running a greddy turbo kit at 9 psi will give you 285 crank hp
if you run it to 13 psi which the Rsx stock auto tranny can handfle you get a wopping 300hp
that will make those times
btw got all this data from clubrsx.com
also like to note to do a swap like this it will cost you 6 to 7 grand!

The mods he has in the profile makes me think he doesn't know as much as he should for the car he has. Using iridium plugs on a turbo car? venom400? something is wrong. His only other mods are throttle body and pullies really...

Its abuot 110-117 right now in AZ. Tucson is usually a little hotter part of the state than where I am as well. I doubt that could be run in the summer time here. Its just so f**kin hot.
