So I'm chillin at the local scene looking for the right person to run. Anxious since I've only used the N20 a total of 4x so far, against my friends 98 GST Eclipse. Which just at that moment he pulls up. Girl is driving he's tore up. So he ends up spilling his guts that he is still running his T28 turbo at 15#'s and not the stock T25 at 17#'s like he told me last week. So I was like you mother****er. Had me going home all sad and **** last weekend thinking my car was slow, but in fact he runs mid 13's on the T28. So now I'm feeling confident. Since he only beat by two cars at 100mph(although I had him by two out the hole). I am pretty shure I am capable of low 14's. So a guy with a black srt-4 is talking to the VP of my car club who has Srt-4 that traps at 120mph and runs low 12's spinning like crazy . So I ask him if he ran at the track. He said 14.4 stock. He now has Stg1 upgrade and a BOV and can't remember what else he said. So I'm like **** it. You wanna run from a dig? Looks at my car with that look of, is this dude serious. None the less he agrees and didn't even asked what I had. So we head out. Go through my check list. bottle open, pressure 950, arm system,(forgot to purge ). Line up rev to 4k I honk 3x. And we are off. I jump out the hole by a car. Catch traction flip the N20 switch. Rpms climb fast not used to it... bam hit the rev limiter(thank you window switch) before I could get my hand up on the shifter and throw itinto second. He imedialty pulls two cars ahead. I throw it into second fast WOT N20 kicks back in and pullin hard. As my rpms begin to build back up He pulls another car through second. third gear same distance 4th gear still three cars shut down around 120.
I wanted to go again but the traffic was kinda heavy and didn't want to risk it. So we get back to the lot. And he was like damn whatcha got in there. Told em and he was like that is pretty quick.(In my mind, Yeah I know mother****er your lucky I hit the limiter.) He was like yeah I had a bad *** launch and I couldn't believe you jumped out that far on me. Said yeah I have cut some pretty good 60fts. I was pissed so I walked away and he went back to talking about Srt's with my boy.
Thank you MSD without you I would be picking up peices of my motor on the hwy right now.
So I am 0-2 with the N20 at this point, but I guess I am happy considering the competion and the margin of loss. I just need more practice using the system and making sure I purge next time . Track this Friday can' t wait!!. I'm feelin some low 14's

Edit: Forgot to mention he had a passenger So a slight advantage for me I guess.

Whats up with the air down there in LA, Aint no way in hell a srt4 with stage 1 is gonna run 12's with 120 traps........while spinning, on the west coast atleast. Hell i dont even know if stage 3's can trap 120 mph. Is your friend a BSer?

No he has a bigger turbo, injectors, safc tuned and making 422whp. Rode in it for the 1st time tonight. Holy *****!! Fastest car I have ever been in, He actually offered to let me make a pass in it before but I delined cause I didn't wanna be responsible.
I raced the stg 1, who ran 14.4 stock.

If you mesed up shifting, and he still only beat you by a few cars, I'd say thats pretty good considering the car you have.

Dam with those mods thats pretty much stage 3!! He coundnt have really been racing right?? Heres a video of a stage 3 SRT4 running 12.7 at 107 (which is dam slow). I have a hard time believing a d17 with a 35 shot can hang from 0-120, another thing, you got a VP dont they have a rev limiter around 115

he is talking about 2 different SRT4's here. he DID NOT RACE the stage 2 SRT4.

he raced a different SRT4 that's a stage 1.

and FYI, the guy in the stage 1 couldn't drive. a stage 1 SRT4 can run low 13's. my guess is he's still running low 14's with his mods because he can't drive. people tend to think that when someone mods a car, it will automatically improve on the times they ran before modding the car. when it's something like going from stock to stage 1 on an SRT4, if you don't know how to drive it's not enough to do something for your times. he'd trap a bit higher and that's about it.

I raced the stg1 black Srt-4 that ran 14.4 stock.

He was talking to my friend who has a red Srt-4 with a big *** turbo(cant remember what kind), injectors and tuned with SAFC makng around 422whp and ran low 12's at 120mph spinning in just about every gear. It was quite a thrill riding in the passenger seat last night.

Yeah he probally wasn't the best driver, if I didn't hit that damn rev limiter It would have been close and in the 1/4 I probally would have had em. Just need more practice using the N20.

Aparantly there is no rev limiter at 120. That is the first time I have ever taken it that high. I don't know where it is or if there even is one, but my azenis are only rated for 130 so I don't think I'll be trying to find out. Which by the way hook like crazy on the street. Love em.

Man that aint bad, im alway competeing with srt-4's, Wrx's, evo VIII's, around here. No one buys anything else. I swear its anoying, but im usually only about 2 cars behind and all i had on my car was headers, CAI, and a muffler. But no of them were stg'ed or anything. But its allright i got something for their *** now. K-powered baby!....

Should be several videos. My friend said he will film since he blew his mustang up. Just gotta get the vid from him and host it somwhere. I can't wait! Just ordered a set of 14" Kosei K1-TS wheels for the BFG's. Only 9.3lbs, stockies are 15-16lbs. Maybe they'll save me a tenth. I wanted some 13"Lenso VPD's with M&H's but I don't have $600 and exospeed said they were sold out.

REdline, u using the Sneeky pete kit? i was gunna order 1 for my CRX to get into the low 13's but i was told they didnt make much of a difference. How are u liking it? i believe the sneeky pete is the only kit making a 35 shot, so correct me if other kits now have 35hp jets. GOod call on the wheels, i love the kosei's. What BFG's are u using? wat dimensions?

also, have u done any weight reduction? if ur thinking of running 14.19's... high 13's are reachable i think, these new civic's are so ****nig weighed down by crap, u can easily take out 200 lbs, to get that extra .2

No I have the NX EFI wet kit(10lb bottle) with genx-2 upgrade accesory kit. I'm just seeing what I can do with a 35 shot for now and later step it up to a 50 when I save for a new clutch and lightweight flywheel. Although everyone is telling me to put the 50 pills in now and busting my ***** saying a 35 shot is for lawn mowers Not gonna give in to the peer pressure. I was saying 14.19 to **** with Jet. We have had this friendly rivalry going on kinda pushing each other to be faster. Finally I have caught up to him. Evertime I get close he goes back to the track and does better, which he will probally do again. That's ok cause I got that 50 shot coming eventually.
I would love to hit a 13.9 on just a 35shot with the DR's but temps are so high right now even at night so I'm not expecting the best right now.

Yes I have done weight reduction check the link in my profile. Car weighed 2380 with me in it no passenger seat and 1/2 tank of gas. So the car itself weighs around 2200lbs with a 1/4 tank of gas. But that was before the N20 install and I have put the passenger seat back in to hide the bottle since it's mounted behind it. So the car is probally around 2260-70 now? I could lose another 100-200lbs but since I drive the car daily right now I'm not ready to take it that far yet.
