Installed AEM Underdrive Pulley Kit - Awesome
Ok - I just installed these AEM Pulleys (P/S and Alternator) and they look and perform great.
I borrowed my buddy Passport G-Tech before installing the Pulleys.
1st Mod = Injen Short Ram Air Intake:
My 0-60 time was 12.72 sec
My 1/4 mile was 17.18 sec / 82.9 MPH
Ran it again and got:
My 0-60 time was 12.85 sec
My 1/4 mile was 17.35 sec / 81.2 MPH
2nd Mod = Injen Air Intake and Greddy Evo2 Exhaust:
My 0-60 time was 9.27 sec
My 1/4 mile was 16.24 sec / 85.8 MPH
Ran it again and got:
My 0-60 time was 9.73 sec
My 1/4 time was 16.85 sec / 84.4 MPH
3rd Mod = Injen Air Intake and Gredd Evo2 Exhaust and AEM Pulley Kit:
My 0-60 time was 7.845 sec
My 1/4 time was 15.65 sec / 94.3 MPH
Have not been able to get that good of a time again - will try tomorrow in the morning when the temp is cooler.
So how does the Pulleys work - they are bigger so does that mean they turn/rotate slower or faster.
Also they are a lot lighter - that I understand.
Anyways - this was a good mod in my book - I have a factory stereo so no need to worry about the Alternator going bad.
Later,
Mike

The bigger the pulley the easier it is to turn the accessory. Kinda like using a larger wrench to give you more leverage on a stubborn bolt. Since its easier to turn now you have more power for other things, like the wheels.
I have an AEM tru power underdrive pulley kit but looking for step by step instructions on the web to install it. How hard was it for your to install it? Do you know anywhere that I can get info to help me install this thing?
