I just crashed. Need help

I hit a mound of dirt avoiding other cars. My SRS airbag did not go off but my seatbelts have locked in position and I cannot pull them out or wind them back in. My SRS light is always on in my gauge cluster. I tried the SRS reset trick in the DIY but it appears i have to fix the belts first. Can I possibly do this myself? If this is not possible and i have to take my car to the dealer, would this seatbelt repair be covered under warranty? Thanks in advance.

I would think you would be able to take it to the dearlership and have them fix it with no problems. I have played with my seatbelts before and can get them to lock up by themselves by just yanking on them fast but after a little while they usually unlock themselves. Is there any damage to your car?

I think the seatbelts are covered against failure for the life of the car. I can't remember where I read that? In the manual or the warrenty probably. Read those.

Go straight to the dealership. Playing with it yourself unless you're a mechanic voids the warranty on that specific part. I found out the hard way on my Camry.

i think there are preloaders on the seat belts. they probably went off and that is why it's not working. if that is it, it won't be covered.

To my knowledge, all seatbelts in all cars are lifetime warranty.

What do preloaders do? I'm guessing they are part of the SRS system and completely lock up the seatbelts when they sense a heavy impact as a safety feature. As usual i'm probably wrong.

Dealership, warranty, insurance, etc. No need for DIY on potentially life-saving equipment that comes standard with the car.

Amphiprion is right. Just take it to the dealer. Don't F*** with it yourself.
