"mugen" rear strut bar question

I ordered a Mugen style rear strut bar from ebay several months ago. It had circles on the end of the bar... I figured no moving parts, hey good strut bar, ANYWAY. I couldn't even get it to fit past the metal parts in my trunk. I gave up on fitting it and forgot about it until recently. Are the areas around the top of the rear struts different in the coupe and sedan? I have a sedan, and it seemed impossible to make it work. Does anybody have this stut bar setup? Was it a fluke? Does it not fit on a sedan?

yes, picture would help, or a better description of the "metal piece". I have a rear strut bar in my sedan, and it was a bit of a pain to get in, I had to cut some stuff to get the ends of the bar completely down.

thats for the rear? the CIvic only has 2 bolts to hook the rear strut bar too..... hmm.....

yeah... It might be for a different car... I have no idea, I should have returned it when I got it. Now Im pretty much stuck with a bar that I have no use for. Unless maybe I can identify what it really fits, then its back on ebay.

You sure that isn't the front strut bar? It is either the front or for a different car. Is there a part number on it?

i had the "mugen" bar at one time. it fits the RSX no problem i hear, but it wasn't gonna fit for **** on a civic. the seller is a douche, who could care less too. sorry for your loss

no part number... I doubt its the front though, I don't think its long enough... makes me wonder. I wish I had something to do with it. Seems like a decent piece.

i sold mine for a loss to an RSX owner. the shipping was rough, i got about $20 out of the $60ish i paid, if i remember right

Thats not a "mugen" rear bar. Thats just some chunk of ****. They didn't even knock off the mugen bar for the RSX to make that. If nothing else, see if it fits in the front (which the bolt pattern makes it seem like it might).
