Performance Mods
Performance Mods
I know the d17 doesnt respond well to bolt ons and Im not looking to turbo or swap my engine but I was just wondering If anybody has found some decent parts or mods that will get me a little more hp?
i would DIY a nice grounding kit ( http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=155307 ) and a hyper voltage system. heres sun's. http://www.seffects.com/parts/SUNEHI0002S.htm
theres more than "suns" brand hyper voltage systems.
supposely, it improves a part of your electrical system and gives your car an overall better grounding source which may lead to better performance/gas mileage.
the best bolt on mod i have done would probably be hi flow cat. revs were quicker and smoother

all i can say is, goodluck trying to get power from bolted on performance. if your 5 speed, i would look into a nice clutch, flywheel, pulleys?

a grounding kit exists of power wire and terminals. you can make one yourself using car audio accessories that can be bought from www.sounddomain.com www.darvex.com www.thezeb.com and ebay, etc.

it doesnt really matter if the grounding kit isnt exactly for the Civic or you can say universal right? if so will any of the grounding kits on ebay work? such as these:

I got a great grounding kit from www.hardcoretuning.com. High quality, and comes with detailed instructions that include color photos. Also allows you to select from several different colors for your wires. Shipping took a little long, but they seem to be a small company.
