Welcome to Summer - and SCHOOL ZONES!
Dammit...
I was out of town this last week, came back yesterday - and drove my normal route to work this morning. Well, assuming it was summer, and that there was no school - no problem. I turn a curve in the highway, there is a typical school zone on the other side of the curve, no problem.
Well, I see the damn school zone light flashing, and I was like WTF?
So I was pissed for the school zone to be there during the SUMMER, but I wasn't about to get a ticket, so I slowed down to EXACTLY 20, but was POed. I looked in my rear view mirror (cussing out the crossing guard under my breath), and it appears she is looking at my car from behind (license plate), writing it down !!!!
If I get a ticket I'm screwed, as the speeding fines are doubled. This sucks, because I WAS NOT SPEEDING! I have a sick feeling that I will be getting a ticket in the mail. Anyone else have this experience??

Well, my mother was a crossing guard when I was in elementary school - and she used to write people's plates down if she thought they were speeding. I'm not sure what happens though, after that.
