Does anyone know how this will sound?
OK, Im planning on getting a muffler and having some muffler shop weld it on from the axle. I cant afford a catback right now, so this will do until I get there. I know our stock pipping is pretty small. Im planning on getting a 2.25" inlet ractive muffler.
Does anyone know how its going to sound? Low and deep? Stock? Fart cannish? I just need to know before I throw down some cash for it. Thanx

it will sound like ****. ractive mufflers sound ricey. get either a tanabe hyper, rsr exmag, or a 05 type s muffler. really what's the point of getting just a muffler, espcially a cheap one.

I'd have to disagree with this statement. He needs to save up his pennies, get a real muffler like tanabe, HKS, or RS*R. Then go to a custom exhaust shop and get custom piping done. Cheap and gets the job done. If not buy a megan catback since they're cheap and decent quality. Don't mean to offend anyone but enough with the stupid ****. Getting a cheap muffler welded on will make him regret it down the road.

Rep Power: 276 Yeahh, Im just tired of looking at my rear bumper and not seeing anything there. The tip on my stock is pretty recessed under the bumper. U have to bend down to actually see it.
I just need to make sure that I will get a nice deep sound from a muffler thats pretty cheap. I read a post that someone said getting one of those carbon fiber ones from ebay are pretty good and not ricey. Has anyone got a carbon fiber muffler from ebay?

Rep Power: 276 Im thinking of going that route. Seems to be the cheapest and Im willing to bet ill be happy with the sound output from it. Now, I just have to find a muffler

Rep Power: 0 and another thing. since you think anything is better then the stock muffler then im guessing you are a big fan of them ricey fart cans. maybe you are the only one on this site that likes that sound but other people here dont like it. not anything is better then the stock muffler.
