The downpipe made the car quite a bit quicker. The top end especially in 5th gear was noticeable. However, if you have an aftermarket exhaust, it will be loud.

used downpipes with cats dont match up with smog check. Just thought I let you know... Only legal way is to get a new one through a dealer.

Actually it's illegal to get aftermarket catalytic converters unless your original cat has failed. I suggest whoever gets the downpipe keeps his stock one as well.

Rep Power: 0 The downpipe replaces the catalytic converter. You can interchange it for smog.
Thus, the downpipe has no effect on the catalytic converter. It's like replacing your header with an aftermarket one. If you want to put the stock on back on, you just do it.

I only take checks when it gets cleared. Then the product is handed over.
